Effective: April 21, 2026

Last updated: April 21, 2026

CalcMojo respects intellectual property rights and expects others to do the same. This DMCA Takedown Policy explains how we handle copyright complaints under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), including notices of claimed infringement and counter-notices.

Although CalcMojo is operated from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, we may respond to qualifying copyright complaints using the DMCA framework for content published on calcmojo.com.

If you believe that content on CalcMojo infringes your copyright, please send us a proper takedown notice using the requirements below.

Designated DMCA Agent

You may send DMCA notices and counter-notices to our designated contact:

Designated Agent: Sanket Chaukiyal

Email is the preferred method for sending copyright notices and counter-notices for faster processing.

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe content on CalcMojo infringes your copyright, your written notice should include the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are involved, a representative list of those works
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the exact URL or enough information for us to locate it clearly
  • Your contact information, including your name and email address, and preferably a phone number
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

We may not be able to act on incomplete, vague, or unsupported notices.

What to Include for Faster Review

To help us process your complaint more quickly, please also include:

  • The exact page URL on CalcMojo where the material appears
  • A short description of the material at issue
  • If possible, a link to the original work or proof of ownership
  • Any relevant screenshots or supporting context

Where to Send a Takedown Notice

Please send takedown notices to [email protected] with a subject line such as DMCA Takedown Notice.

Sending a proper notice does not automatically mean content will be removed immediately, but we may review, remove, disable access to, or otherwise restrict the material if we believe the notice is valid or if we choose to do so as a precaution.

Our Response to Valid Notices

If we receive a notice that appears to substantially comply with applicable DMCA requirements, we may remove or disable access to the material identified in the notice. We may also notify the person who posted or supplied the material, where appropriate and where we have a practical way to do so.

We reserve the right to remove or disable material at our discretion when we believe it is appropriate to do so, including where a notice appears credible, where legal risk exists, or where the material raises repeated infringement concerns.

How to Submit a Counter-Notice

If you believe material you posted or supplied to CalcMojo was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a written counter-notice.

Your counter-notice should include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, email address, and other reasonable contact information
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court if required under the DMCA, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original takedown notice or that person’s agent

Please send counter-notices to [email protected] with the subject line DMCA Counter-Notice.

What Happens After a Counter-Notice

If we receive a counter-notice that appears valid, we may forward it to the original complaining party. If the original complaining party does not notify us within the applicable period that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the material in accordance with the DMCA process.

Under the standard DMCA framework, restoration may occur not less than 10 business days and not more than 14 business days after receipt of a valid counter-notice, unless we receive notice of a court action within that period.

Good-Faith Requirement

Please do not send abusive, careless, automated, or knowingly false copyright complaints. A DMCA notice must reflect a genuine good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, the owner’s agent, or the law.

Before sending a notice, you should consider whether the use may be authorized, licensed, permitted by law, or protected by doctrines such as fair use, fair dealing, commentary, criticism, teaching, research, or other legal exceptions that may apply depending on the jurisdiction and facts.

Misrepresentations

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or counter-notice may expose the sender to legal liability. We reserve the right to ignore, reject, or document notices that appear abusive, misleading, or submitted in bad faith.

Repeat Infringer Policy

CalcMojo maintains a policy to address repeat infringement where appropriate. If we become aware that a person, contributor, submitter, or other source repeatedly posts or supplies infringing material, we may suspend, restrict, block, remove, or permanently refuse future submissions or interactions from that source.

We may consider the number of notices received, the quality of those notices, any counter-notices, the surrounding facts, and whether we believe the conduct is repeated or abusive.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to copyright complaints relating to content on CalcMojo, including text, graphics, images, layouts, downloadable materials, and other content that may appear on the site. It may also apply to user-submitted or third-party-supplied material if such features are enabled on the site now or in the future.

This DMCA policy does not apply to trademark complaints, defamation complaints, privacy complaints, or general consumer issues. Those matters should be directed to us separately at [email protected].

No Legal Advice

This page is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure whether material infringes copyright, whether your use is lawful, or whether you should submit a DMCA notice or counter-notice, you should consult a qualified legal professional.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA Takedown Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, site features, business practices, or operational needs. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of CalcMojo after an update is posted means the revised policy will apply.
